Anyone else been to the Myer Stockstake sale here in Aus....

Or is it just in QLD. Have managed to get dh some new boxer shorts - bought him some 5 years ago that are just getting worn out - so replaced them - same style - reduced originally from 25 to 12 - got them for 7 - 8 dollars.... am looking at getting a sofa - buy a 3 seater and get a 2 seater and an ottoman free!! am off to look at that tomorrow - another store- hopefully they still have some in stock.

We are redoing our lounge room and so old lounge suite is downstairs in rumpus room and we have nothing in our lounge room at the moment.

No such luck here! No dept stores for several 100ks. Have friends who are off to Cairns for the weekend with the specific aim of hitting the Myer stock sale. Was featured on Rove last night.

hannah - went back to that same westfield today - manic - took me 1/2 hour to find a car park - had to go to a diferent store to get dd2 her first shoes and to get dh and I a duvet... man it was a nightmare - I swear if one more person ahd wither stopped dead in front of the buggy or had stepped out in front of the trolley - I was just going to mow them down evil . I should have realised all the stores in this centre would be having big sales prior to stocktake... of course then they all have after stocktake sales too... crazy.

got the sofa - $1200 - buy the 3 seater and get the 2 and an ottoman thrown in for free......
