do any of them do internet shopping?
who delivers? does anyone know?
Ive got Plus, Aldi, Tengelmann(hate them though), Lidl, VMarkt, Kaufland, Hit on my doorstep....am getting fed up with staggering home on Saturday with whining children and half a tonne of groceries, that the children have scoffed by Monday.

I'm in Berlin and I know the Kaisers supermarket does deliveries and online shopping. Only in Berlin and Munich I think. Haven't tried them though. you can order your cosmetic/toiletries and cleaning products from schlecker online and they deliver free. When I had smaller kids I did the months shop of baby stuff and all our stuff from there which atleast took abit of the bulk out of the shopping I did have to drag home. I certainly miss the convenience of online shopping you all have in the UK.

Nightynight, did you try the online shopping yet from kaisers? I am thinking of trying them as they do Berlin too. Schlecker used to deliver our stuff in massive cardboard boxes with schlecker written all over them, trouble was getting rid of them as all paper had to be kept and tied in bundles with string for collection once a month so it was a pain with the piles of rubbish at the botom of our stairs. Was wondering how Kaisers would deliver..?

hi NN and CF :)

'veg' box? We get ours from a Gärtnerei which lets you choose what you want from a list they email you every week and also delivers a load of other stuff (pasta, rice, dairy...).

Could you tell me the word for veg box in german and I can google it for berlin. What does your gärtnerei call the service? That would be great for us as we usually cook vegetarian anyway. No hurry though as we are just hanging on and counting the days till we go to UK - wish we didn't have to come back after the holidays as that is always the worst part getting used to being back. I could put a shopping order in to Kaisers just before coming back!

try googling "gemuesekiste berlin"
