Taking electricals to China

can anyone advise whether UK electrical (TV etc) work in China? I think the voltage is very slightly different and obviously we'd need new plugs/adaptors. does anyone have experience of this please?
thanks

Hi, the voltage is exactly the same here as in the UK. We have brought over a printer and a Bluray DD player and they work with no problems. Our will need adaptors but some plug sockets will take UK plugs and you can get lots of the 3 or 4 gang extension cables that take UK plugs so you probably won't need as many as you may think!

I don't think your tv will work. We rent a house and it came with 2 tvs and 2 dvd players.

Good to see you're coming flower! When are you arriving? Did you decide whether to live downtown or suburbs?
