I'm in Minnesota so haven't heard anything, but friends and family in NY have said they're being told to stay at home.

Ooh, skratta, also in CT, on the coast, not allowed on the roads. We had about 2 ft. Has been lovely actually, DCs playing in the snow while DH and I shovel the car out, then all back in for hot choc/TV (and wine!)

Oh, sorry for not coming back!

Thanks CheerfulYank I only realy know about CT, not NY (although I know a bit about what's happening in Rhode Island and New Hampshire, because my ILs live around those states mainly.

I'm also enjoying the snow howdoo, love staying in and having a hot drink and chocolate and being lazy, and feeling all warm and comfortable.

We've had about 2ft and a bit by now, but I'm guessing you've had even more since you posted?

We're getting hit now! It's really coming down out there.

Ooh, it stopped a bit I think. Maybe.

DC are very excited, missing school!

I hope we still have school tomorrow...but it looks like we've gotten nearly a foot so we may not. Still, it's not that cold (28F so...about -3C?) so it's not so bad. DS and DH have been out playing and "painting" the snow with food coloring in spray bottles for an hour or so :)
