Is anyone out there living in Mexico City with children? We might be...

Trying to do some research but I don't speak Spanish and struggling to find out what sort of place it would be to bring up a young family. Any insight hugely appreciated. Thanks.

I think you'd have to bear in mind the drug problems and also significant crime rate. Also remember its a significantly polluted high altitude area.

My best friend lived in Mexico - not in MC though and loves the people but didn't feel like she could bring kids up safely there at all.

Personally, I'd be nervous but its entirely up to you.
