I want to help out and surprise a friend in france and buy some house stuff like towels/ sheets. La redoute France have a sale in and if I buy online there the delivery will be cheaper.

Has anyone bought house stuff from there and is it good quality and worth the money? Even the sofas and beds look nice:) but I wont be able to buy those!

Thanks very much if you have any advice

La Redoute are OK for soft furnishings. They are not M&S quality but Ok in the sales when prices are reasonable. We have had towels and sheets from there that have worn up well enough, and if you get the 100% cotton stuff it is nice. Wouldn't recommend for furniture but then I live near an ikea so tend to go there when I am looking for "cheap and cheerful". Beware long delivery times!

I've got some curtains and they are ok, quite ikea like. However when i ordeed them, only got 1 curtain not a pair, very strange

I had a spot of bother with them when they gave me incorrect basic details on a piece of furniture I wanted to buy. It meant the furniture was not suitable for my house and when I pointed out their mistake they would not take responsibility or exchange the item.
Their prices are good though and therefore for things like sheets and towels I would probably give them another go, but I also found their delivery times disappointing (and not as advertised, at all!).
Good luck
