Just wondering if anyone knew what living in Southern Malaysia was like. I think the area is called Johor Bahru . We are thinking of sending DCs to Marlborough prep so any info on that would be great too. Quite exited about the prospect but terrified too!

We moved to Selangor (next to KL) about nine weeks ago.
All I can say is this, the wheels of bureaucracy turn very slowly.
the good parts are cost of living, weather - mostly, and the people.

There is some info on Marlborough on some of the Singapore school threads. You might have more luck posting another thread re the school specifically if you can't find them. We're in Singapore so only just over the causeway. My eldest only just about to start school but have heard of a number of parents taking their dc out of Tanglin (International School whith English Curriculum) to send them to Marlborough.

Thanks for that info. Good to know the cost of living is cheaper than here. Will google Tanglin.

Hi All

My family and i are looking to move to Johor, and have 2 kids of 6 and 10 years old. Any experiences of international schools in Johor?

Many seem very new and we are concerned that they wont have experienced staff.
