Hello! My young family and I have been living here nearly three years and although we've made some lovely American friends, I'd love to connect with any local Brits so I can talk nappies, marmite, trousers, haggis, Renault cars, Cheryl Cole, Radio 2 and ready meals from Marks and Spencers. My DD (3.4) is now talking like an American and the littlest one was born here so I do worry it's only a matter of time before this kind of talk is ousted from our family altogether and we have the Stars and Stripes flapping in our front garden. Help!
