Hi pupsie! Currently tingling after spending last night watching Mo & Usain score golds at Olympic Park: an epic way to spend the night. Am scared, sad, had mad pavement sobbing goodbye with one friend and in next breath say 'see ya!' happily to another friend via phone. Will see how I feel in 14 hours when can picks us up. For now I guess the overriding feeling is: let's have it! (with a touch of sadness too).
Can't wait to meet you, and others. Whoop!

'cab' not 'can' - obviously anticipating 14 hrs in air :) Reading back I sound negative; can't wait too...

I think you sound very realistic, and upbeat. And your pavement sobbing made me smile, in a nice way. I am just about to settle down to yesterday's Olympics. Has made me a bit homesick but things are going well here. Meet you soon for a cocktail or two!!

Whooooooooooooooo. Am here in Singsong, finally. It's... very shiny. Warm, efficient, friendly enough, busylikeLondon (that's good). But rather far away. When does the floaty odd thing stop? Am hoping when boy starts school the week after next I'll feel a bit less spaced.

On the plus side (and there have been lots of them) we've had some GREAT meals. Now to start using the fancy little gym room that's literally right opposite our apartment...
