Dh's old company have been in touch about him coming back to work for them. We now live in the us though and he would not be an employee but an independent contractor. He is British, the company is British, we live the us, just wondering who he has to taxes to? Assuming it's the us he will have to pay but not sure. Would he have ti make ni contributions etc?

TIA

You might want to ask about this over on www.britishexpats.com there have been independent contractors over on that site if I remember right. I think the choice in taxes depends the Visa and if you will switch and get green cards but I could be way off. Good luck.
