Bonsoir or other Paris mums do you know any good companies that rent out holiday apartments?

In Paris, old preferably,in the city and any recommendations for good locations as a base to do things with kids. Have been to Paris a lot but not with kids. Normally stayed in Monmartre but guessing there may be better areas to stay in with kids 8,8 and 7? Only things on my list so far is the garden with the boat pond for kids and a bateau mouche trip. Feel free to chip in with anything else, places to eat etc. Also sure there used to be a lovely toy shop in the passages that sold tiny wooden dolls house bits and bobs???

TIA

I'm not a Parisienne but we used Housetrip.com to find a fab place in Le Marais which was great for exploring the centre and strolling round lovely areas on our way.

What about Mumsnet houseswap for the apartment- they seem to have loads listed on there? (not sure how it works though).
There's another thread asking about things to do in Paris with children (under travel-shorthaul) that mentions a couple of useful sounding guidebooks

Not Parisian either, but we used www.yellowstay.com a number of times when looking for apartment accommodation for ourselves and three kids. We also stayed in the Marais, though they have apartments in a variety of areas. Last time we went was August and the "Paris Plage" thing was going on which was fantastic for the kids.
