Moving to Melbourne in 2 weeks time... Eek!

Our family is moving to Melbourne, my OH has got a job which starts 5 days after we arrive! We have been lucky enough to score a house sit in Caulfield South at my OH's friends as they are in the UK for 5 weeks. This will hopefully give us time to find somewhere to rent. My husbands job is based in Parkville / Sunshine, and I am going for a job at Peter Mac in the city. What I would like advice on is child care. My little boy is 4, coming up 5 in Nov so obviously he will be starting school in Jan. If I get the job I'm going for it will commence in September so we will need full time child care from Sept to Jan. Can anyone recommend any where in the city? I would like to be able to drop him off and pick him and for him to be not too far away from my place of work.
We will also need to start thinking about before and after school care, can anyone give me advice on what sort of services are around? Also, is there a similar scheme to child care vouchers in the UK where yuo salary sacrifice a proportion of your childcare fees so that you save money on tax?
Sorry for all the questions, but I haven't got the first idea about where to start and where I can get advice from!
Thank you!!
