OK. First time on Mumsnet so forgive limited range of acronyms.
DH has job offer in Calgary. Quite tempted despite all warnings of very long, cold winters and high rental costs. Quality of life still looks pretty good and we fancy nipping to the Rockies for weekend skiing. Would likely be there for 3 years and will keep our house here in case it's a disaster.
Main concern now is that my soon to be 5, will only be attending Kindergarten for 3 hours a day. We have been getting along a whole lot better since he started full time school in September.
What am I going to do with him in the afternoons?! Will he regress?
Has anyone had experience of this?
