Boiling now. Where's mosman?

Longdistance · 24/06/2012 12:58

It's bloody freezing here at the minute. It was sunny today, but will be raining in the next few days. Gets really cold in the evenings, and need to wear my thick night gown when up and about in the middle of the night.
Where you staying in Petth?

roary · 24/06/2012 14:21

Yes, should have clarified that it was the kettle boiling not the weather. Should be warmer by August, June/July the coldest. It was freezing Friday night! But lovely during the day.

thats a good question longdistance no where at the moment. Have sent about 12 booking requests but no luck so far. Could of course get a house tom if I wanted to pay $1000 a weekShock

I am confident something will turn up. Plan to spend 4 weeks in Perth getting organised and then over to Byron Bay/Brissie as thats where my heart lies and then back to Perth. Start dd 7 in school so that she can make some friends before school stops for summer, oh how she will love having 2 summer breaks.

You are moving at a good time of year, we arrived on the 1st of Sep last year and it seems to be a much better time of year to find rentals most people seem to arrive over christmas. We got our short term rental off of gumtree as we were on a 457 so booked it 2weeks before we came. Have you looked at www.ozhouserental.com/ it is run by an English woman and she will do her best to get you one for the dates you need.

Think I have managed to secure a house in Joondaloop for 4 weeks, its got a heated hot tub, that sold it for me. Despite being winter/spring it will still be warm for us Scots.
Had dd leaving party from school so thats another of my listSmile
