Jersey move - any tax insight, childcare tips.

May be moving to Jersey from the UK, not far I know but still different tax/legal jurisdiction. I'm trying to figure out how income tax works and what rates may apply other than the flat 20% rate.

Does anyone know anything about childcare tax relief or general cost of child care in Jersey - we're thinking nurseries?

My dh is from jersey, he recommends this website for everything tax related. On top of your 20% tax you will also have to pay social security which is detailed in that website. He did say something about marginal tax relief on the 20% so actually pay a bit less than that but I'm afraid I didn't quite understand what he said

Can't help you with childcare I'm afraid, we have never lived there with children. We often talk about moving there but the house prices are !!!
