Vancouver nurseries

Hello,
We're going to move to Vancouver in the Summer and I would like to have some information about nurseries (or is it kindergartens?) there. DP will start working as soon as we get there, but I'll have some time to settle us in and will only start working once DS (who'll be around 6 months old when we move) has a nice place to go to. Could anyone give me some information about good nurseries and prices?
Thanks!!

Try British expats, you'll likely get a better response. In Victoria it's generally around $39 a day, there are home daycares both licensed and unlicensed, and ones like a nursery, but there is a shortage of places for under 2s on the island, you may have more luck on the main land.
