Living in Dubai. Where to go to escape the summer

We are currently living in Dubai and me and the children are returning to the UK for a month in the summer. We will then meet my DH somewhere for a holiday but I have no idea where to go. I can't decide whether to meet somewhere in Europe or fly back to Dubai and then go somewhere from there. Can anyone recommend somewhere that has fab kids clubs, flies direct to Dubai and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. thanks

Sri Lanka or India although the weather would be similar.
Thailand has a couple of Club Meds and isn't that far from you.

We live in Dubai and always book flights out of e UK. For example last September we booked man - dxb - Colombo - dxb - man. Much much cheaper, each year we book a different onward destination for Christmas or Easter. Previously we have been to cape town, Thailand, malasiya, Bali etc and this easter we are off to Sri Lanka.

Anyway to answer your question emirates flights go via Dubai so dh could join you onward. Bali Thailand both fab, tropical o warm but not as unpleasant as Dubai ;-) if your looking at Europe lykia world in turkey has great kids club, sunsail in Greece, anywhere with club med ( the one in kata in Thailand is fab, they love kids). Hth.
