ordering stuff to be sent to Laos?

i want to order a hotwater bottle online to be sent to my friend living in Laos.

any idea who i can order from who will ship to there reliably and quickly? i could wait till i can get to a shop and then post it myself but this would be quicker if it's possible...

Just an idea.

I hope someone with Laos-specific knowledge can advise. I don't want to malign the place because I love it, but I don't know what their postal service is like. In a neighbouring country, the item would possibly never arrive or there would be duty to pay (even on a gift).

I would be cautious. We lived in Thailand for four years. Our gifts and Amazon orders were patchy to say the least.
We visited Laos, I can't imagine that they have a better or more honest post personel.
