DD2 has bad eczema - we use Surcare in the UK which doesn't irritate her skin at all. Is there a US equivalent?

Try tide free. I have actually never found anything as good here and like it better than surcare. Unlike here all the main brands do unscented versions.

Thanks for that - i'll definitely try it.

we used the Kirkland (COSTCO) own brand, buy in a big tub. My DS who has had mild eczema for most of his life never got any whilst we were there (even when using jumpers in the winter which always made him worse)

Thanks pimmsgalore (great name!) it's good to have a couple to try.

The biggest problem I find is that the washers here don't do a good job of rinsing. I have a front loader and always do the heavy cycle and extra rinse. Takes 1hr 50 but clothes come out residue free.

yy, agree with extra rinse cycle if you are using a top loader, too.

we use the tide one and scabby ds1 hasn't had any issues. i might try the costco one now though
