Perth Mumsnetters: where are you?

Hi there
I've seen a few of you around on various Perth query threads but those Sydney ladies seem to chat amongst themselves quite a lot and I thought it would be nice to see who's out there. I am moving to Perth in 10 days, DH already there, and we've lived there before but still feeling very unsettled/excited/sad and all the usual things at once.

Anyone have anything they seriously, seriously wish they'd put in their container?

Hi Roary
We are in Hillarys, were abouts are you planning to move? We have been here a couple of months now. Can't think of anything I would put in,to be honest trying to remember why I packed some of the stuff that I did. Maybe my mum and dad but I think Quarantine might frown on that one!!

We love it here best thing we ever did!!

Hello!
I'd have put more clothes in, especially kids ones. But that's mostly because I can't face taking the little ones shopping Grin

Hi, we are renting (via friend) in cottesloe initially but won't stay there. We will stay fairly central though for work. Dh is a Perth boy so we know broadly where we will stay. Glad to hear you like it shelly and star, I have heard many peope say they miss the range of kids clothes in the uk!

There must be more mnetters in Perth!

You are coming just as the weather is starting to heat up, going to be in the 30's most of next week. We were talking about what we are going to do for CHristmas last night, DH has 2 weeks off. Its going to be so nice just to get up in the morning and head to the beach.
