dectectives needed to find my lost shipment...

I am so fed up and angry - the shipping company have lost the carton with my lovely mulberry handbags I bought before i was married and had kids and packed away which we will never afford to replace, plus mulberry washbag plus some irreplaceable soft toys my ds1 still crys about and some books.

my dh didn't check when the shipment arrived and just randomly ok'd it. They have since found the rugs they lost, but have yet to collect a Mr Simons carton which they delivered by mistake- clearly he is not desperate for it and its in my hallway for 2 months now.

they say they don;t know where it is and anyway my husband signed so i can forget about it and please stop calling them , but i acknowldege the IDIOT made a mistake, surely someone must know where my carton is? there must be spare one somewhere????? i thought in this age of cameras and international terrorist suspicsion this couldn;t happen but it has. does anyone know anyone who has received my carton and gets no response from shippers?

Oh no, that's dreadful. What's the value of the lost box? Don't let them brush you off. Can you threaten to contact the police and report that they have stolen the box? Or can you make a claim on your insurance?

hi, no as my dh signed that we received it they have pretty much got away with it. its about 2000gbp in there, plus the teddies. my dh packed up as i was away- i would never have put all that together. its all gone quiet now ad they ignore my calls and emails.

Sorry to hear about this, hope you manage to find it/get it sorted. Did you have insurance, I know this doesn't replace sentimental items but it can help. As a matter of interest, who did you ship with?
