English speaking obstetricians in the Malaga area

I'm meant to be going on holiday to Costa del sol (about 20 min drive from Malaga) in 5 weeks when I'll be 26 weeks pg with twins. The hospital have confirmed that this will be fine but have recommended that I make sure I can get access to medical care there if I need it.

Can anyone recommend an English speaking obstetrician/hospital in the Malaga area? Or let me know of any experiences they may have had out there?

Hi I live just outside Fuegirola which is in the Malaga area. I have given birth to both my children at the Costa Del Sol hospital just outside Marbella. The care on both occasions throughout my pregnacy and stay in the hospital was fantastic. They do speak good English in the maternity unit but its not always guarenteed. There is a private hospital called the USP which has branches in both Fuengirola and Marbella, also the Zanit in Benalmadena. You should be able to get information on these on the internet. They will speak English at the private Hospitals. Good luck and enjoy your holiday

20mins east or west of malaga?
Fuengirola etc are west of Malaga. In Malaga itself there is a specialist Maternity hospital - Materno Infantil, I think they have a translation service. If you tell me where you are going I should be able to tell you your nearest centre

To the west. We're going to Alhaurin el Grande
