We are getting a bit bored with the hum drum life that we are currently living and think that there must be a bit more to life, (although I'm not sure what 'it' is exactly). We would like to go travelling and let our children see a bit of the world / immerse themselves in different cultures / perhaps learn a language. The idea is to go travelling around or live in a different country somewhere for up to a year.
Children are 9, 6 and 3.
Has anyone ever done this and where did you go?
Obviously it depends where you go, but any ideas of a budget? We were thinking South America.
Did the childrens' education suffer?
