Hi, when we move I would like to take various electrical goods with us. However, what do you do about the fact that most goods these days have those modern very all in one types?

Not like the old ones where you unscrewed it and put on a different plug and it was all very simple.

thanks in advance.

You can still cut the wire and replace the plug.

Which country are you moving to? You can buy lots of plug converters. But for the USA, the electricity is a different voltage and you need new appliances.

Depends how permanent your move is and where you are moving to.

Last time we moved, we cut all the old plugs off and put new ones on. This time, I decided to buy a dozen adaptors instead - makes it easier if I move again!

So you can cut the wire. Good. Or yes, adaptors, but they don't seem so permanent. Thanks everyone.
