We have just got to a holiday let in Glenelg in Adelaide. The place is filthy and horrible and we are due to be staying here for a month until we find a rental.
The garden has a pile of broken chairs, paint tins, ladders etc etc so unsafe for dd's. Generally house is in pretty bad repair and filthy.
Anyway I need to know where I stand. We have paid up front and I have emailed the owner to say that we want the things fixed and cleaned etc etc.
I also called her mobile and got her very drunk husband who said he would let her know.
We seriously do not want to stay here but I need advice from an Aussie perspective.
