Anyone familiar with Dubai please help - there is such a lot of conflicting info about this on the ne
I am aware that paracetamol/codeine mixes are banned in Dubai - but as far as I know ordinary paracetamol is not. I know it is readily available in pharmacists there - but I get such bad headaches form travelling and I dont want to spend my first day searching for a pharmacy. I took plain soluble para to Dubai a few years ago with no problems - but maybe I shouldn't?
Does it depend on the strenght of dose and the number of tablets? Better in hand luggage or suitcase?
It is incredibly difficult to find official authorative info about this, so any help gratefully received.

As far as I know it is just products that contain codeine that are banned and paracetamol is readily available at the pharmacy, I have just been to Dubai and back and I have advil (contains ibuprofen) in my handbag and and I was fine.

Maybe someone with more knowledge about this will come along.

You are fine with regular paracetamol. No one will check and they are fine in hand baggage or suitcase.

Paracetamol is fine. Don't worry.

The one with codeine should be ok if you carry a clear prescription from a doctor. Otherwise no.
