I'm looking forward to pastures new. Anyone else in the same boat?

Not moving from US, but in Switzerland. Where are you moving to?

Zug...where are you?

Oh, other end of the country, I am afraid. In Geneva.

But Switzerland is great, you will love it. Very different to US, I imagine.

Where are you now? DH's next posting will hopefully be to US.

I have a British friend who has been living in Germany & Austria for the last 8 years or so. She would so love to live in the US. I, on the other hand, have the opposite view....I'm so looking forward to going to Switzerland. I refrain from giving a disparaging opinion of a country that is regarded as a "super power". All I can say here is that it has been a mixed bag of experiences. My most positive one has been the homeschooling of my 2 daughters. It wasn't something I intended to do but it was out of necessity. That alone I would say has been the best experience I have gained from my time here in New Jersey. I must also admit that the sports opportunities have been incredibly good. The standard of tuition, ranging from my daughters' piano teacher to the tap dancing and softball, is extremely high.
More later if you want to know more...

Sounds interesting. Will certainly give you a shout if it ever does come to pass.
