I am English, a Physics graduate and live in Germany (fluent German - I work in German at present). I would dearly love to go into teaching - probably primary - and am now investigating starting studying "Lehramt". Does anyone else teach in Germany? Do you teach in a bilingual or a "normal" state school? Am I crazy to think that there are jobs out there? How have you found it? How did you go about finding your job?

As far as I know, it very much depends on which Bundesland you are in.

When we lived in NRW, I was told that they were taking on staff without teaching degrees, as they were so desperate for teachers.
