Is there anyone who lives or has lived recently in Africa?

Can anyone help please? At school we are planning a topic on Africa which is to include a comparative study of our village and an African village or small town.

Does anyone know of, or have a connection or contact with, a primary or junior school in such a place that we can link up with to swap and share resources, and which our children can write to? Ideally we would be able to communicate electronically with a contact there as well... I know, I'm not asking for much!!

A close friend has recently come home from a few years in Rwanda. She was based in Kigali but spent most weekends outside the city in a childrens' home if that helps :) this one in fact. I don't think she would mind forwarding a message or you could just e-mail the home and say you've heard about it through a friend of [insert my friend's name].

Happy to help from Nairobi. A good friend helps out in our local primary school and would be delighted to have a connection with the UK I'm sure.

You could always google schools in large cities, eg Kampala (Uganda EA) or Enugu(Nigeria, WA) and you'd probably find email contacts which would lead you to your aim.
