We have made the decision to emmigrate (it only took us 10 yrs!) and are now gathering info to decide where we want to call home
NS looks stunning - particularly the Truro area.
We are thinking about the skilled worker route (im a nurse practitioner and DH is in his final year at uni doing mental health nursing) but are going to find out more about the provincial nominee programme as it may be applicable to us given that NS is placing emphasis on health (in particular ehealth and the 811 number which my area of expertise).
We have 2 DC (currently 3 & 2) and would like to have DC3 by the time we land.
Obviously we are aiming at 2014-2015 for getting PR by the time we have paid off debts from DH's studying etc but will have equity in the house for proof of funds.
In the meantime, I'm trying to get as much info as possible (as well as raise funds for a reccee in the summer).
There must be some MN people here who can talk to me (and put me off the fog!)
