Renting home in Sweden

Hi - there's a possibility I will be moving to Sweden next year. It's likely we'll be renting at first and I'm looking for a website that will help me search rental properties to see what kind of housing is available - the Swedish equivalent of rightmove, I guess. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also - any experiences or advice regarding moving to or renting in Sweden more than welcome!

Bostaddirekt.com and hemnet.se are good starting points. The second you can get in English I think, not sure how good your Swedish is.

The Rental Market in Sweden is notoriously fierce particularly is Stockholm. If you have the chance of using a relocation company that they are your best chance. However Alot depends on your area and budget. Try thelocal.se (English language news site), there's plenty of advice on there.

Wow - thanks for the quick response. I'll check out those links and I'm sure I'll be posting more queries. I hadn't considered a relocation company - I'm not yet sure what our relocation package will be - I think my dh's work will advise on accommodation but I would like to have a head start.

The location would be Eskilstuna, so I hope competition for places will not be as fierce, although I did hear that the high-speed train link to Stockholm means people do commute to the capital.

Yeah Eskiltuna is a fair bit out so you will get a lot more for your money!
