I really want one but someone told me they are made for 240v. I guess you can probably get an adapter although I'm not sure how much they would cost. Anyway, has anyone tried anything that is similar or would get similar results for my hair? I am desperate for something!

Mine says 230v. I bloody love mine and I don't know if there is anything similar, it is so good. I am sure there will be soon when other manufacturers get wind of how popular it is. Can you not just use an adaptor plug?

Babyliss also sell products under the Conair brand in US for 110V, they do the exact same styler there called Infiniti Pro Styler, Spin Air Brush. Its exactly the same as the big hair but with different packaging. Hope this helps!
Otherwise, if you bought a UK one you would need to use it with a big heavy transformer, rated at least 700W.
