Flu Jab for the UK?

Morning all!

I haven't had the flu jab and nor has my 9 month old as I don't worry too much about it here (people are quiet considerate about trying not to pass coughs and colds on). Do any of you consider it for going back to to the UK at this time of year?

The news seems to be full of flu news there....

That makes me sound neurotic - I'm not a germ phobe, just can't work out if it's worth it or not..

It's the same flu viruses around the world, some countries' press and health authorities give less or more publicity, the amount of public awareness is not representative of the risks. If you are not worried about getting flu wherever you are, you shouldn't be worried about for going to the UK. If you are not in a high risk group, it's not normally recommended, personal choice.
