German school report cards

Can anyone point me in the direction of a comparison table for German school report marks and English ones.

I have searched google with no luck.

I need to show how a 1 or 2 at a gymnasium compares to a GCSE mark in England.

Does that make sense??

not sure if this has already been answered, but when i moved from Germany to England, we used A - 1, B - 2 and so forth, the college I went to accepted this.
