Any MN's in Canada?

Hello, I moved out to Saskatchewan from the UK last year with my Canadian husband. We lived in Saskatoon for a year and have just moved to Regina. He's working with the RCMP and I am at home at the moment. I was just wondering of there are any other MN's in Sask/Canada? We're trying for our first baby and I must admit it would be nice to get a Canadian perspective on things...

Hello there! I'm in Canada, but over in the BC Rockies, and had both my boys back in the UK so not sure how "useful" a response this is, LOL! How are you finding life in Canada? We've been here for 5 years now and hope never to need to move back - we're "living the dream" out here :)

I'm in Montreal, having DS2 here in hopefully 2 weeks. Not sure how much help I can be, but ask away. I have 3 Canadian friends due the same time so can possibly answer q's too.

I'm in BC too, we've been here for coming up two years, but I have an almost 10 and an 11 year old, so not very in tune with baby stuff any more.

Well, it wasn't so much baby stuff as I was just looking at the local MN groups and thinking how nice it would be to have something similar over here. I think BC and Quebec may be a bit of a trek though....I really have moved to the middle of nowhere! I do love it here, though. I even quite like the winters - at least all the mosquitoes die off then :).

Hello TangleStash. I know that this in no way compares to MN but have you considered a Canadian parenting forum? When I was expecting dd2 in Ottawa, I found this site helpful: Canadianparents.com

Best of luck with your upcoming plans.

i'm in alberta, not far from the sask border Grin only one dc born here though, and that was 8 years ago. the other two were born in germany and uk.

having a baby is pretty much the same around the world tbh, with a few small cultural differences. Wink
