I could really use your help - I'm sending a package to my friend in the States and want to send things she can't get Stateside, eg Cadbury's chocolate, Birds Custard powder etc.

What things (mainly foody I suppose) do you miss living overseas?

American T-shirts are fab, FN, and they always recommend tumble drying, which saves hours & hours of damp-hanging-around in a UK winter - why can't UK ones be like that???

Oh I've gone to town on souvenir clothing! Seeing as sf was chilly and Carmel changeable. I have an Alcatraz sweatshirt, a Heavenly knitted hat and I love my dog and Carmel T shirt. There are so many dogs in Carmel, in shops on the beach, in Hotels. Rupert would love it here........Foxy Roxy would loathe it. Too many dogs on her turf.

A knitted hat? Re-thinking the going to California next summer now...is it that cold?

Lol, no but I bought it in a ski resort shop. I guess they don't change their stock very often.
