Hoping this is a restful night for you and that you feel a bit more refreshed by the morning. Today sounds like a real dip on the rollercoaster but hopefully the units of blood tomorrow will help get your body for the next chemo as soon as possible.

Jacob must want a cuddle as much as you do, so I'm crossing my fingers that can happen soon.

neilyoungismyhero · 17/07/2023 23:51

I too have been reading your posts and up to now haven't commented but just wanted to wish you well and hope you have a comfortable night. Thinking of you.

Mydoghealsmyheart · 17/07/2023 23:52

So sorry to read that you have had such a horrid day with pain and other wretched symptoms. Let’s hope that a blood transfusion will help you and the chemo is still possible for Wednesday. It must be awful missing Jacob, he’s your precious son and it might be good for you all if he can come over to be with you and your husband. Then you would all be together. I hope and pray that tonight is more comfortable for you and you and Kerr get some much needed sleep. The love, support and prayers from so many of us are with you always. 🙏

Captainhook3 · 18/07/2023 00:05

Sending love and best wishes Pamela.
Hopefully you will have a good meeting with Prof B tomorrow and hope you can be reunited with your loved ones for hugs soon.
With you every step of the way sweetheart

Sorry today has been rough. The swelling sounds miserable. My friend had similar when she had heart problems a few years ago - when they found the right medication to sort it, she lost six stone in under a week! I hope your meeting with the Prof tomorrow is productive and gives you a way forward, and that the blood gives you a bit of a boost. Still thinking of you daily.

Iwantanapnow · 18/07/2023 00:17

Just catching up reading through the thread and I'm so sorry you've been having a tough time, it sounds awful 😔 try not to worry too much until you've spoken to Prof B tomorrow and know for sure what's going to be done. As another commenter said, sometimes people have had all sorts of things happen/go wrong but they were still able to continue the chemo. So don't lose heart just yet, it may all go ahead just with a little more close monitoring or something! Regardless I'm keeping everything crossed that things improve and it all does go ahead ❤️💐

Imnoexpert · 18/07/2023 01:45

I hope you're sleeping peacefully now Pamela and that tomorrow goes well.
Thinking of you in Banbridge. xx

Katypyee · 18/07/2023 02:00

Hope you are sleeping right now Pamela. Your friend seems to be doing a wonderful job of keeping you comfortable, as does Kerr. Sending you love, light, and hope from Canada.

Eaglesqueak · 18/07/2023 02:50

Sending love and gentle hugs, Pamela. I hope you’re sleeping soundly right now. The blood transfusion should perk you up a bit tomorrow.
Thinking of you all xx

WaterWall22 · 18/07/2023 06:01

Good morning Pamela. I hope last night was reasonably comfortable for you. Xx

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 18/07/2023 06:39

Good morning Pamela.

I am sorry you had such a rubbish day, I hope you have had a better night.

The blood today should really help, and I am keeping it all crossed for chemo tomorrow.

Xxx

Letsgoforaskip · 18/07/2023 06:54

I’m so sorry that you are suffering so much. Sending love, hope and strength.❤️💐⭐️

Vebrithien · 18/07/2023 06:56

I am so sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time of it. Hoping and praying that the blood transfusion helps, and you can steam ahead with chemo.

I took a a bunch of teenagers to the zoo yesterday. I was gently surprised at just how many of them wanted to go on the boat. Coming from the coast, I think I forget that these children have been landlocked, and a boat is a marvellous thing.

Here is a photo looking over the lake.

May God give you strength and courage. May he bless you and keep you. May His light shine upon you.
