Hang in there Pamela, you're doing so well. Your friend's house sounds wonderfully calming - just what you need. And home-made soup as well, perfect.

Much love to you, Kerr, Jacob, your Mum, your friend and everyone else. I am willing for you to be a little less yellow tomorrow x

Sounds like you have a wonderful friend. A true angel. I'm glad you're comfortable and able to control your pain with your medication and I hope you have a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Much love to you and Kerr and Jacob and your mum 💕xx

Mistymountain · 14/07/2023 09:28

Your friend sounds wonderful, and her home sounds like a peaceful haven, especially with Kerr being able to sleep beside you. It's incredible that you manage to stay so strong, while enduring all these physical problems.

I love your friend. How wonderful to have her. And how wonderful for her to be able to help you in your hour of need. Remember that.

Another day Pam. Uphill I know.
But you. are. doing. it. ☀️🌼

I didn't think you could be here last week.
Everything has proved me wrong and I am so so pleased for you. 🚀🌕

Keep on Pam . And solidarity to your dear family and friend. xxxxx

watermeloncougar · 14/07/2023 09:33

I'm glad you're in a calm, restful place. What a lovely friend you have. It must be strange after all the action of travelling to London, surgery, chemo, to now have a sort of hiatus waiting for the next intervention, but I hope this phase brings rest and an improvement with the jaundice. And definitely some time outdoors, though frankly if the weather is as where I am, maybe not yet!!

frecklejuice · 14/07/2023 09:39

I’m so happy that you have such lovely people around you ❤️ Can Kerr grab an afternoon nap sometimes? He needs to keep strong and rested so he can keep you going.

It’s rainy and grey today but hopefully brightens up over the weekend and you glean get out for some fresh air.

Im up at Harley St on Tuesday evening with my son for a skin appointment so I’ll be thinking of you then! x

Pegsmum · 14/07/2023 09:41

Good morning Pamela, lovely to hear from you. Your friend sounds so lovely, what an angel she is making you homemade soup. Her home sounds lovely too!
The swelling sounds very debilitating and I hope it and your jaundice starts to lessen over the next few days, you have been through such a lot in such a short time so be gentle to yourself.
Faith, hope and love x

Munchyseeds2 · 14/07/2023 09:42

As well as the shampoo caps, you can also get waterless shampoo - ask Kerr to look on amazon or I know Boots sell it
Hope you have some good hours today xx

StartupRepair · 14/07/2023 09:56

Morning Pamela. So glad you have such a lovely friend looking after both you and Kerr.

sayitkindly · 14/07/2023 10:00

Still following your journey and so happy to see your positive news and mindset.. thinking of you

LAMPS1 · 14/07/2023 10:27

This time last week, you were desperate without hope and without a plan.
We look at how far you have come in that short time and marvel at your miracle determination. Here you are now, in a comfy bed, being cared for, with the plan in place for survival. I know it’s been a hundred times harder than you thought it could ever be. But you and Prof B kept your sides of the bargain, took massive risks and went for the difficult road instead of giving up. It is paying off and you are here to tell the tale, difficult as it is at times.
We are all grateful for your very honest story Pamela …for the inspiration it gives us….inspiration we will no doubt need and use in our futures.
Hope your friend has a few cushions to make your wheel chair more comfy. Can’t wait for you to get out and about a bit to tell us what’s outside the front door.

SlightlyJaded · 14/07/2023 10:27

Morning Pamela

I am so glad you have THAT friend and are in THAT environment. It makes such a mental difference being surrounded by good people in a peaceful place. I very much hope that you will start to feel a little better and stronger soon - but the main thing is, you are being treated. There is a plan. There is hope. There is progress. And you deserve all the luck and treatment in the world.

We are all right behind you.

Blogswife · 14/07/2023 10:41

Sending best wishes & thinking of you , your family and lovely friend ❤️

Glad to hear you got to your friends, It sounds like your friend is an absolute angel.

I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news but jaundice can take quite a while to bugger off, my hubby (I posted his liver function tests on your 1st thread) was Bart Simpson colour for a few weeks even after his bilirubin was down to in the 30’s, you WILL get there though, strangely enough the chemotherapy helps normalise liver function.

As always sending all the love and 🍀 in the world.

Hi again pamela
we recently had some pretty devastating fires here - things are growing again … nice to be reminded of the forces of nature. Hope you have an easy day today

Good morning Pamela, hour by hour May seem long when you’re in pain but look how much has changed in a week! I can’t believe you are out of hospital and sleeping in a proper bed. Get lots of rest and let the meds do their work. You just need to ‘be’ at the moment.

with love and hug Caroline

lucylulululu · 14/07/2023 11:15

Good morning all!
Pamela I'm so pleased you finally have a much more comfortable environment. What a wonderful friend you have. It is times like these when you know who they are ❤️ and she has gone above and beyond that, she is a true friend.
I hope you've been able to have some breakfast this morning and are settling in well. Xx 💐

Andywarholswig · 14/07/2023 11:24

Good morning Pamela glad you are at your friends house and still in awe of your eloquence and attitude. Cloudy and a bit wet on my morning walk but the river was beautiful and the earth smelt all fresh after the rain. Sending you cancer ass kicking vibes
