Suggestions for finding a good therapist

I'm dealing with some serious health issues and not coping very well with managing the stress and trauma of it all. I've found a therapist but she is quite expensive so I might have to try find a more affordable alternative to be able to carry on for as long as I would need. Any suggestions for finding one or recommendations?

What’s expensive to you? I think prices per session are fairly standard unless it’s highly specialist, or unless the therapist is a trainee offering free or discounted sessions, or offering discounted sessions for low-income clients. I’ve seen three different therapists since 2020 and they’ve all charged the same hourly rate (€60).

@NobleDeeds Luckily I found one now through recommendations. I was paying £130 for a specialist in chronic illness but it just wasn't sustainable. Luckily my new therapist is £40 an hour (discounted rate) so I'll be able to have a couple sessions a week :) Thanks for your response x
