Hi I took my first pill last night and have had zero sleep with a pounding headache. I’ve read here that coffee helps which I don’t like but have forced it down. Is there any other tips to help while this passes , or does it pass ? I really don’t want to stop taking it.

Do you have anything for pain relief that you take on an “as and when basis” as well as regular background pain relief? Sorry if that’s a silly suggestion

I think it’s a common side effect that goes within a few days.

Who prescribed it - are you able to contact them for reassurance/advice?

simple paracetamol and ibuprofen hasn’t touched me, I did however take a naproxen around 4 am that seemed to help but I can’t continue to take those as they are addictive. X

I had this when I was taking it too. It took me a while to realise that it was stopping me from sleeping, and for a doctor to believe it was down to that. It's been a while since I stopped taking it, but if I remember correctly, eating something helped me. I'm not sure why or how but it worked.
I hope you feel better soon.

Naproxen isn't addictive (at least that's what I was told when prescribed it!)
