My sister had her appointment today with the oncologist for her secondary breast cancer that has spread to the liver . Results have come back showing that her tumour markers have come down for a second month running the CT scan is showing growth on the tumour. The consultant was slightly confused by this and they are having a meeting thursday to see what other scan they can do .
i know its a stab in the dark but can anyone shed any light on why this might be?
