My dad is in hospital with what we were initially told was a stroke. The doctor took us into a room today and said it's a brain tumour, they're doing another CTscan tomorrow to determine whether it's a primary tumour or metastasis.
He's a very good age( 90 ) and we think it would be too much for him to put him through any treatment, although 2 weeks ago he was on the golf course .
I know we don't live forever but I'm devastated , he's been the best dad. We're meeting with the palliative care team tomorrow. I can't stop crying.

Oh OP I am sorry to hear about your lovely Dad. Mine died 4 weeks ago suddenly at 69 and it is so hard, we all miss him so much. I hope that you have lots of support for the tough days ahead of you. No matter the age you never want to lose them Flowers

I'm so sorry that you have lost your dad, I don't know what's worse a sudden loss or knowing it's coming.
