Hello

I would be grateful for some hand holding please

My mum had endometrial cancer and had a hysterectomy about 4 years ago. Unfortunately the cancer has recurred and has spread to the lymph nodes. Only to lymph nodes and not any further. She’s being treated at the royal Marsden and is also on a clinical trial

I’ve worried myself sick by googling which is painting a doom and gloom picture

I know people survive it and chemo manages to control it

Does anyone have any experience please

Thank you xxx

Flowers to you.
My mum had the same. The nodes were removed, chemo, rads and is now just on quarterly follow ups with the oncologist and no signs of any further cancer.
Flowers

Hi @Calmness111 and @Eileen101. My mum has had a similar thing - treatment 7 years ago for stage 3 endometrial cancer, which seemed successful but now it has recurred in lymph nodes in her abdomen. I’m very scared. How are your mums doing? Can I ask where the lymph nodes were located that it recurred in?
Wishing you and your mums the best. T

Hello Eileen101 and AKB34

I’m so sorry. I’ve literally just picked up your messages xxxx

Eileen - such good news about your mum. Long may her good health continue xx ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

AKB34 - my mums recurred in her para ortic lymph lymph nodes and pelvic lymph nodes. She’s completed 6 rounds of chemo and the nodes have shrunk back down. She’s now in an immunotherapy trial drug How is your mum doing? Lots of love to you and your mum xxx
