IV fluids at home- anyone arranged this?

My partner is in hospital. Terminal illness and not long to live, and desperate to come home. She needs iv fluid therapy which her palliative care team cannot administer at home. I'm appalled! I would have thought home based palliative care would include iv therapy as standard! Anyone have current relevant experience of suggestions. We are based in the uk

Some areas have a hospital at home team. They are able to give IV fluids

Do the district nurses or out of hours team do this? If not do they give fluids sub cutaneous (via a small tube under the skin over 12 hours). Ask about other community services as most areas do sub cut fluids.
Hope you get sorted, take care xx
