Hello all

Hope I have posted in the right place. A friend of ours (more my DH) has cancer and is awaiting results to see if it has spread to her bones. She’s a such a lovely lady, she will be going into hospital and having treatment I’d really like to make her a hamper of useful things that will help her and cheer her up during this time, her DH passed away 6 months ago and she doesn’t really have anyone else around. I don’t want to give flowers I’d like to put thought into it.

Many thanks

I'm researching things for a family member. Warm socks, hand and face cream, lip salve, chewing gum or boiled sweets have all been suggested to help with the side effects of chemo. Also travel bands for nausea, lighthearted reading like magazines or fluff novels (poor concentration but bored in hospital) and audio books.

Was coming here to look for further suggestions too, hope my ideas so far can help.
