Just that really. Aggressive, advanced prostate cancer. In his bones and lymphatic system.

To say I'm devastated is an understatement.

How the hell do people get through this?

Hi OP - my lovely DH has the same diagnosis and we are further down the line so I might be able to answer some questions. Sorry about your dad Flowers

I really feel for you OP. I have lost a few close family members to cancer (although not prostate). It is bloody hard. When you hear the news, it feels like the earth has opened up underneath you, whilst everyone else carries on doing happy 'normal' day to day things. Just take each day as it comes. Ask questions, cry, talk, sleep, hide yourself away for an hour.... whatever feels right for you and your dear dad, just do it. If it helps, just keep posting here....you will always find support on MN.

Flowers for you and your dad. X
