Brain Stem Tumour - devasted

My husband is having a biopsy tomorrow on his tumour which is in his brain stem. It is inoperable due to location and the biopsy itself could be fatal or lead to a low quality of life. I'm devasted, kids are being so brave (6 and 9). Husband is being incredibly brave . Three weeks ago we had a care free life and no real worries. Why! Why us? He's such a good man with a heart of gold, a gentle giant.

There is no reason why, it's just a terribly cruel thing.

Life is so very unfair and I’m so sorry about your dh’s Illness. You sound like an amazing dw and dm.

I hope the biopsy outcome will be the best it can be in these circumstances and will be thinking of you.

just awful for you. not the same, but my dh was diagnosed 4 years ago with an incurable brain tumour. he was given 1-2 years. he is still here and doing well. you never know. much love

DrMadelineMaxwell · 13/08/2018 23:04

So sorry to read this.
I lost a very good friend to a brain stem tumour. He didn't actually ever realise he was ill. Just a few headaches, then couldn't be woken one morning and died only a few days later. Such a shock.
