Sort of in shock.
He was told today he has restrictive cardiomyopathy.
It’s incurable. There are some ways to delay damage to the heart. We don’t know what or if anything might help. It all ends in heart failure though. He’s 40. I’m 40.
I lost my dad when I was a child to cancer. I lost my best friend to sudden cardiac death 11 years ago. We have two DSs, 9 and 11. One has ASD.
I know the pain that is coming. I’ve done it before. I don’t know how I will make it through for my children.

Sending hugs, I'm very sorry, at 80 it wouldn't be so bad, but 40 is no age, best wishes to DH x

🌷to you.
I know each case is different but I know a lady with this who has just had twins! she was watched like a hawk during pregnancy and spent half the time in hospital but she's doing ok.
I think, gather all the info and help you can from the Drs and live each day as it comes.
it's a crap hand youve been dealt but what can you do? You have to make the most of each day now. Best wishes Flowers

You are so right.
I’m signed off work for a week, the anti depressants are kicking in and it’s the start of a long road.
The new normal is beginning. Not one we ever wanted but we are here now and have to make this journey, like it or not.
