My Dad was diagnosed with rectal cancer a couple of weeks ago but he also has a strange unidentified "thing" near where his prostate used to be (cancer there a few years ago) so he had to have another biopsy earlier this week and saw an oncologist today. Anyway a nurse phoned him earlier to say the biopsy had been sent away and the results would be 2 weeks, which would delay treatment. The nurse said the biopsy had been sent to "IMO? EMO?" Does anyone know where this biopsy has gone....I wish he'd ask questions.
