Is this where I come with fibrosing mediastinitis/coronary artery disease?

I just don't want to keep banging on at DH and my IRL friends about it; I'm only 43, I've lost nearly half my lung function, have a 60% blockage in my left anterior descending coronary aftery, I'm terrified and it's hard to see the "oh god again" in my friends' eyes if I even mention anything. But, do please let me know if there's a better thread for it.

Historiatrixie thats so hard for you and im sorry your friends dont want to hear about it.I only have experience of ill parents..both incurable cancer and a dh who had a heart attack.I have to try not to mention it in Rl so it must be even harder if you are the patient.Flowers

Historia, I'm so sorry you're having a hard time not only with health but with finding people to talk to - that is rubbish Sad

I think this place is fine, but I also think (as it is busier, and you may get more responses) the general health section is fine for you to post in. You may find people who can relate to your specific issues there?

Wishing you the best with treatment, whatever it may be, and with finding places to talk. I know, in your shoes, I would need to find some - in fact, I'd probably be asking my GP or hospital for counselling, just to safeguard a space for myself where I could focus totally on me and adjusting. YOu have every right to talk Flowers
